Ingredients
- Onion (cut into small pieces) – 1 piece
- Chicken – 1 kg
- Tomato (cut into small pieces) – 1 piece
- Oil – 2 table spoon
- Tomato paste – 2 table spoon
- Salt – 1 table spoon
- Cinnamon stick – 1 piece
- Gloves – 3 pieces
- Cardamom – 3 pieces
- Black pepper seed – 1 table spoon
- Coriander seeds – 1 table spoon
- Cardamom – 1 table spoon
- Coriander – 1 table spoon
- Turmeric – 1 table spoon
- Basmati rice – 250 gm
- Kabsa spices (if not available ) make ur owns simply and fresh made ,
- Nuts are optional , you can use deep fried nuts like cashew nut, almonds, pine nuts or raisins
Instructions
- Heat cooking oil, add hard mixed spices above stir for about 3min ,add minced onion for about 3min , add the tomato and stir till its a smooth paste then you can add chicken , tomato paste , powder spices and salt.
- Add 1 liter water bring to boil for about 35mins
- Remove chicken in an oven tray and roast it for 20min to get the golden color
- Add the soaked rice to the stock and let it boil at high heat for 2mins , then cover and reduce it at a very low heat for 30mins.
- In a serving plate add the rice on top chicken , serve when hot. Enjoy!
Notes
- Chill before serving.
